How can you support us?

There are actually several ways you can support Cory's Kitchen. Many people call us and ask if they can bring food or clothing to our distribution center for us to give away. While these gifts are much appreciated, they miss the mark. With the contacts we have made with various organizations and businesses, we can purchase about 10 times what you can get for the same dollar. Therefore it makes much more sense for us to purchase it ourselves.

Your monetary donation goes much farther than any gift of food or clothing, and you get a much greater tax break as a result. Below are several ways that you may be able to donate that will help us target the need much more successfully.

CARS 4 CAUSES

Did you know Cory's Kitchen is able to accept used car donations in California through the not for profit corporation, Cars 4 Causes? They handle all the paper work, title change, free pick up and sale of the car. It's easy. All you need to do is pick up the phone and call 1-800-766-2273. We receive the donation and you receive a tax deduction.

MAIL US A CHECK

As stated earlier, this is the best way to financially support us. Your money goes much farther than you realize. It costs us approximately $25.00 to feed a family of 4 for about a week. Try doing that at your local grocery store.

Cory's Kitchen is a registered 501(c)3 organization and as such, you receive the same tax deduction you get from donating to your local Church. Each year, around January 15, a letter is sent to you outlining your donation history for the previous year, making tax preparation that much easier.
