Allow me to describe to you one of the most innovative and
unique ministries we've ever encountered. When I first heard about
this, I was both skeptical and intrigued. First, let me give you a little background.
Have you ever wondered what Pastors do when they retire? Probably much the same as you do, but
one Pastor had a great idea. He was determined that he wasn't finished with his work here on earth,
but he just didn't have the stamina to keep up with running a church. His answer - he opened up a
travel agency; but not just any travel agency.
You see, one of the biggest problems that ministries like Cory's Kitchen has is raising finances. This
Pastor, having had the same problem for decades, decided that he wanted to help alleviate that
burden. Here is what he does.
He contacts churches and faith-based non-profit organizations, and partners with them. He builds them
a webpage that links people to other bargain-type travel sites like Orbitz, Travelocity, Cheap Ticket,
etc. When someone books their travel arrangements through this process, this Pastors travel agency
gets the commission. But it doesn't end there.
Because he views his business as a ministry, he passes on half of the commission back to the ministry.
In our case, half of the commission comes back to Cory's.
With the advent of the internet and it's impact on the travel business, you are probably going to book
your business travel, vacations, weekend get-away's and holiday excursions this way anyway. Why
not use your travel dollars to get where you need to go, and impact God's Kingdom at the same time?
It adds no expense to you. In fact, because we are using discount brokers, you get the lowest
price possible. The difference is, instead of the commission going to someone you don't know, it
feeds hungry people at Cory's Kitchen. Is this an awesome blessing, or what?

Attached' on our 'At Sea' days. The rest of the trip is going to be a great opportunity to lay by the
pool and recharge your batteries, stroll along one of the thousands of white sand island beaches,
or do some last minute Christmas shopping in Puerto Rico, St. Martin, St. Thomas or Nassau. Check it
